    This entertaining program, led by Ms. Nona, is for toddlers ages 18-36 months and their parent or caregiver. Basics such as colors, numbers, and letters are taught through stories, activities, and crafts. Come enjoy interactive play with children of the same age.

  • Learn 3D Design - Mansion on Walnut April 26, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

    Three easy steps to using the 3D printer in our Digital Media Lab:

    1 - Have demonstrated knowledge of 3D design software. We strongly suggest attending classes at the Mansion on Walnut if you do not have prior computer design experience - 3D design workshops in April are Wednesday evenings. Call the Mansion for information 309-267-2058 Participants receive a copy of the project guide Problem-Solving through 3D Printing & 3D Design, help completing any of the dozen projects, and a free plastic print of their design.

    2 -- Attend an orientation to learn how to use the library's 3D Printer on MAY 13

    3-- Once you have learned design basics, and attended an orientation, you gain access to the Pekin Public Library's Digital Media Lab. Lab is available at your convenience during regular library hours.

    This presentation will tell what two things are needed in order to double the value of your portfolio every five years. Ideas about how to accomplish this using BetterInvesting* methodology will be shared, as well as what to watch for that could derail the plan. Actual portfolios will be used to discuss how and why these two things are needed for success. Handouts and resources will be shared.
