Friends of the Library

Friends of the Pekin Public Library meet quarterly and focus public attention on the library, stimulate the use of the library’s resources and services and encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the library. Membership applications are available at the Library’s circulation desk. Membership dues are as low as $1 for an individual and $10 for a family.

Book Sale Room
Visit the Friend’s Book Sale Room every day the library is open. And don’t miss the bag sale on the last Friday of the month. Fill a bag for $1. Bags are provided.

Donate to the Friends Book Sale room by dropping off your books at the library’s circulation desk during regular library hours.

We happily accept:

• the latest bestsellers, gently used
• children’s books
• DVDs
• gently used hardcover books,
• paperback books

Materials we are not able to accept include National Geographic magazines, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, text books, and encyclopedias.
