It’s not to late to participate in Summer Reading! We have programs for kids, teens and adults. Visit the Youth Services or Adult Reference Desk to pick up reading logs.
Kids
Youth Services offers three programs for different age groups.
The Read to Me Program for kids ages 3-5 encourages kids to be read to for 75 minutes per week.
The Beginning Readers grades 1-3 to read 150 minutes per week.
The Independent Readers in grades 4-6 are encouraged to read 5 hours per week.
Use your log to keep track of your time and when you finish the log turn it in for a completion prize, including a ticket to the Summer Reading Carnival.
Each week we offer fun family programs. See the list!

Kids in grades seven and up can fill in a ticket for every book or audiobook they read. Each week we draw for a $15 gift card to a local business. All ticket entries roll over into the Grand Prize drawing. The Grand Prize is a $50 Wal-Mart Gift Card. Two grand prizes will be awarded.
Adults
Adults are encouraged to fill out a ticket for each book or audiobook they read. Each week we draw for a $25 restaurant gift card. All ticket entries roll over into the Grand Prize drawing. The Grand Prize is $50 cash. Two grand prizes will be awarded.
