Meeting Rooms

The Pekin Public Library has four meeting rooms available for a wide range of activities. Spaces available include:

Community Room
Seats up to 200 people auditorium style. Has adjustable lighting, wireless microphone, and projection capabilities. Can arrange the seating and tables to meet your needs.

Marigold Room
Seats 10 around a large table

Conference Room
Seats 8 people around a table. Sound proof

Rose Room
Seats 10 around a large table

How to Reserve a Room
Check to see if the room is available by calling the Checkout Desk at 347-7111 x0, then complete the Room Use Application. You may drop off, fax (347-6587), or mail the application to the library. It is recommended you call the library so that we may tentatively place you on the calendar while your paperwork is being processed.

Party Packages
The library also offers two private party package options. Individuals may rent the Community Room for private social functions.
Option 1: Space Rental of the Library’s Community Room
Rent the large Community Room for your party, and library staff will set up tables and chairs to meet your needs.  You can bring in your supplies, activities, and refreshments. The recommended ratio is one adult for every 10 children.
Cost: $30 for 2 hours

Option 2: Video Game Package
Use the library’s PS2 and/or Wii Gaming system, projected on the big screen, for a fun video game birthday party!  Choose from the library’s games, or bring in your own, and create your own video game extravaganza.  Tables and chairs provided.  Bring your own refreshments.  Adult supervision required. The recommended ratio is one adult for every 10 children.
Children must be age 7 or above.
Cost: $50 for 2 hours, plus a $50 deposit

To have a party at the library, please fill out the Social Room Use Application, and drop off, fax (347-6587) or mail the application to the library.
